ABOUT ME

Welcome to my site! My name is Tristan Naraine. I am a media artist and journalist. I write stories and cover news based in New York City. 

 

My current beat is Arts, Entertainment, and Youth, writing about the intersection of contemporary college culture and the latest artsy and social media trends.

I also engage in other media arts practices as well,  including acting, singing, digital artmaking, and cultural analysis. I am a native born New Yorker. In my free time, I also enjoy binge watching a great show, travelling, and following TV ratings. 

Currently, I am working on my Media Studies and Theater degree at Hunter College as a second degree! I have also earned my Bachelors of Arts degree in Psychology in 2018 at CUNY Queens College.
